DASH is a voluntary group for families affected by children with Type 1 Diabetes. DASH stands for "Diabetic Association of South Hertfordshire". It's run by local people whose aim is to provide such families opportunities to meet and share experiences with each other, and also to raise funds for a much desired cure. Our children range in age from toddlers through to late teenagers. The regimes our families use range from two injections per day through to pump therapy with combined real-time sensors. We are part of Diabetes UK (Charity No 215199) If your child has recently been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, then please use the Feedback form to get in touch with us and perhaps join our group.
